Abstract
Ideal geographic education in the elementary school necessitates the child's precise observation of and interaction with "geographic" phenomena. This is requisite to understand man interacting with elements within his environment. Such precise education will help the child in his spatial analysis of the earth as his personal home. The expected outcomes will include the distribution, association, organization, or integration of phenomena in the man-earth ecosystem.

Abstract
Team teaching of geography and social studies provides multi-technical procedures leading to many improvements in instruction.1 Recent findings concerning the learning processes and modes of information presentation indicate that team teaching is effective. Almost one third of American school systems have some form of such teaching.

Abstract
Educational television is not a "cureall" in the teaching of elementary geography in the classroom. It does not replace the classroom teacher. And it certainly does not illuminate all the problems inherent in the proper teaching of geography. Yet television under the direction of a qualified studio teacher is an excellent medium when properly utilized, and is one of the finest teaching devices yet designed for viewing by students and teachers.
