Welcome to the digital home of The Pennsylvania Geographer, the journal of the Pennsylvania Geographical Society
The Pennsylvania Geographer is now an open access journal and (still) free of publication charges. We can do that because we have a dedicated funding stream, the E. Willard and Ruby S. Miller Publication Fund. It allows us to offset all costs associated with the publication of the journal, which primarily involves the printing and distribution of the physical copies. PGS members receive a printed copy of The Pennsylvania Geographer in the mail twice a year.
